Wise Goldens is a small, intentional breeding program in San Luis Obispo County focused on raising Golden Retrievers with exceptional temperament, sound structure, and long-term health. Our dogs are raised in-home as part of daily life – not in kennels – so puppies are handled, socialized, and exposed to real household environments from the start. We’re hands-on through every stage, because we believe those early weeks are critical in shaping confident, adaptable companions.

Each litter is thoughtfully planned rather than repeated on a schedule, with pairings selected for temperament, health clearances, structure, and long-term compatibility. We carefully consider pedigree and genetic diversity, avoiding close lineage overlap to support healthier outcomes across generations.
